Fashion and perfume: the fragrances of “Swan Lake”
What is the connection between dance and perfume? The nineteenth edition of Pitti Fragranze explains it to us.
On 30 and 31 January, after two years of waiting, he returned to the stage in Rome Les Étoiles, international dance gala by Daniele Cipriani. In this gala the traditional combines with the modern, thus creating two wonderful evenings for dance lovers and non-dance lovers.
Speaking of classic, one of the protagonist ballets of this edition was the splendid "Swan Lake", enriched by Roberto Capucci's tutus and Laura Bosetti Tonatto's perfumes.
In Tchaikovsky's original “Swan Lake”, we see Prince Siegfried dancing with the innocent and gentle white swan Odette and followed by Odile, the bewitching and dark black swan (for this occasion played by Vadim Muntagirov and Fumi Kaneko from Royal Ballet of London).
It is precisely this chiaroscuro antagonism that inspired Cipriani to involve professionals to complete the masterpiece presented to the public at the gala, also involving other senses.
Capucci's mastery in creating the two enchanting tutus is combined with the experience of Bosetti Tonatto, who created the perfume “Les Ètoiles” in two versions, which represent the two opposing protagonists.
Previously premiered in September at Pitti Fragranze during its 19th edition, it was announced that the two haute couture pieces would be infused with their respective version of the perfume thus capturing the true essence of the character.
The angelic white tutu accompanied by “Les Étoiles White Swan” describes purity, beauty and elegance thanks to its flowery aroma, while the majestic black tutu combined with “Les Étoiles Black Swan” describes, with its notes of musk and amber, charm , seduction and enchantment.
